Not gonna lie, today was not a terribly crazy or exciting day. We caught our breath after 2 full days of driving, relaxed, and took time to just hang out.
This morning we got up and did breakfast, showers, DJ went for a run, and got kinda settled in. I cleaned out the truck and also did a Walmart-grocery pick up.
DJ and I had our 2nd sushi bowls for lunch. Jackson had easy mac.
Kids and I spent a little bit of the afternoon next door at a family friend’s house with their 3 kids. Amelia enjoyed looking at their fish, hamster, and jumping on their trampoline. Jackson and the 2 boys had a Nurf gun fight and I’m sure will be getting into some more shenanigans and gaming while we are back in MN.
I got all of our 2 days worth of dishes done… water bottles, smoothie containers, bento boxes, Amelia’s gtube syringes and “squeasy” brand bottles we use to hold her gtube feed, etc…
For dinner, we did a very summertime meal: brats (DJs and mine were vegan)/hot dogs, chips, and corn on the cob.
Tonight the Twins game is on. Very chill, but still productive-ish day.
I didn’t take much for photos today… oh well…
Tomorrow should be a pretty chill day too. The weather is supposed to be a bit nicer than today, so I could see us getting the kayaks on the lake for a bit. TBD… Goodnight!
