Unfortunately today was pretty much another drive day. We have lots and lots of miles to do to get home.

However… I got fresh, legit Florida oranges at the last minute! We got these at a cute shop called “The Orange Shop.” DJ was parked on the street, (which was a busier road) so I didn’t take any time to look around other than notice some of their other items from jellies/marmalades, orange chapstick, nuts, etc… while waiting in line to check out. I bought fresh orange juice too!

We made it just over the boarder into Georgia this evening. This makes our 21st state we will have camped in (as we didn’t actually camp in Georgia after our accident last year even though we paid for a campsite and left our camper at a campground the 3 nights we spent on Jekyll Island, GA). Anyways, it’s officially getting crossed off as camped in after tonight!

We are staying at the KOA here in another pull-through site. They really are our favorite when we are coming in later in the evening and leaving as soon as we get up and ready in the morning.

We got here, got parked, and settled. Then the normal evening routine… got Amelia showered and her evening meds, did dishes, the 3 of us took showers, I’m blogging, Jackson is gaming, and DJ is eating more dinner/snack.

Love them!

I’m not 1000% sure what Jackson has been up to gaming-wise. He has his school friends tied into this “country” game they made up or something… it involves WWII, flags, and history… I’m glad he found his people and they can nerd out together!

Peanut fell asleep snuggled up with DJ tonight while I was showering. She knows when those meds are kicking in and she is about to fall asleep… she usually attempts to snuggle and DJ and I both absolutely love it!

The oranges are yummy! However, they took a lot of effort to peel since the skin is so thin!
We may or may not get all the way home tomorrow. It would be a huge day of driving… TBD. We are also considering stopping at Conagree National Park in South Carolina. It would only add about 1.5 hours drive time to our route home, and if we stop, we will book another night at a KOA somewhere.
Good night!
