The blue dot is where we stayed for the last 2 nights. While we didn’t have hook-ups for the camper, the location couldn’t be beat. It’s legit like going to a Caribbean island without having to fly or take a boat, which is super helpful when you are traveling with a peanut.

Although Amelia does have a passport card. We Al got passports and she got the card while living in San Diego either intentions to go to Mexico, but didn’t get there before we moved last year. The passport card will let her go anywhere via driving or boat near the U.S. (Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean). So, who knows where our next non-Minnesota July trip we will take us!

Amelia had a rougher night of seizures last night and then proceeded to throw up her gtube feed breakfast. She has been known to do this occasionally, even while at home. She is burnt toast and this is how she lets us know. Last summer she did this the night we stayed in Marshall, MN at the Walmart parking lot. It’s been a big trip and we didn’t have AC while in the Keys. The weather was supposed to be overcast and in the 70’s, instead we were in the mid 80’s and full sun.
It was HOT and humid!
Peanut definitely is more sensitive than us too… However, she usually bounces back pretty quickly. We will have AC in the camper the rest of the trip as we are booked at KOA’s for the next several nights coming up.

This morning we woke up to some thunder, lightning, wind, and some rain. It was a good morning to get going… even if we needed to dump the camper’s tanks and get Amelia a shower to clean her up after she got sick… all in the rain and wind.

We ended up driving until about 11:15 am when DJ found this pull off spot still in the Keys for lunch! 1000% YES! We love our random pull off spots, and this one was awesome. That water is just unreal!

Lunch was random bits. DJ got left over tuna, Jackson had a Nutella sandwich, and I had a peanut butter and banana roll-up.

Peanut was perky but we didn’t give her any lunch. She got her mid-day seizure meds after some zofran (we always have a zofran RX for her for this purpose, she can’t miss her meds).

We got to our KOA in Naples at about 4:40 pm. We got set up, had dinner, and are staying low-key for the night. We will be seeing DJ’s cousin and family tomorrow!

I don’t think we will be up to too much the rest of the evening. I have some dishes to do and the boys are currently checking out the area we could go kayaking from our KOA. We will be here for 2 nights and then we start on our long road trip back home on Saturday!
