Big day here.
Amelia and I walked around the lake this morning. We met up with one of my high school friends a few minutes in, to walk around the lake with us. Lake Ripley is about 4 miles around. Gorgeous day for it!

We went to “A Maze’n Farmyard” in Eden Valley and met my parents, brother and sister-in-law, and their 4 kids to hang out for the afternoon.

Zero fun was had.
Honestly tho, it’s surprising we had never gone to this while living in MN. (During the summer while the whole thing was open… we have been to the bouncy house bday bit a couple times).
Seriously so much to see and do… There’s animals to pet and feed. Lots of slides to go down. Mazes. Pony’s to ride. A room full do dried corn to play in. Playgrounds. Mini-golf. Koi fish to feed. Birds to feed and have land on your head… It’s fabulous!

Amelia got to ride a PONY! She didn’t do the best at holding on, as she was wanting to lean over and touch the head of her pony, but she enjoyed it and didn’t want to get off!
I’m not sure of Jackson’s favorite part of the day… maybe the mazes(?). I wasn’t there for it. We have a furry friend, named Messi, who is still a puppy and was left out in our camper by himself for several hours. I left a bit early to come relieve him and Jackson got a ride back with Nana and Papa. He is also spending the night there tonight… which means…

I had a “me” night tonight. Amelia fell asleep and the rest of the crew left so… I did my restorative yoga. Made some popcorn. Finished reading my book. Watched the sunset. I’m posting this and then I’m off to bed!

But first! Not that anyone cares, but I dumped the grey and black tanks on the camper legit all by myself. This is something I’ve obviously seen DJ do numerous times… but we have a divide and conquer mentality for camping. I take care of inside: dishes, laundry, cooking… he gets outside… driving, parking, dumping tanks, getting gas, etc…
Anyways… we had a blast at the farmyard and are excited for a lake-day tomorrow before taking off on Tuesday!
