Summer of 23 (Day 29): Lake Ripley Campground, MN

We are coming in to the tail end of this summer of 23 adventure! I can hardly believe we left Virginia 29 days ago!

Amelia and I have spent every night except one in the camper. There was supposed to be a big storm this last week so we move inside to my in-laws for a night. Low and behold, the middle of the night storm didn’t hit us.

Today we moved our camper the short distance across town to this lovely campsite.

With the help of both my dad (parked the camper) and my father-in-law (helped hook up and get us ready to move), we got the camper out to the lake!

Unfortunately it’s a bit windy and cold tonight… so no bondfire. I’m quite the whimp these days about being cold and also I try to get to bed “early.”

My parents joined us for dinner tonight. My in-laws actually took off on a road-trip of their own today. They are headed to Kansas for only few days.

My dad rode his bike for his transportation today around town so didn’t stay too late. My mom stayed to watch the sunset and then headed home.

Tomorrow we have a shorter adventure planned. We are headed to the Amazin’ Farmyard around noon.

Headed to bed… good night!
