Amelia’s mini bday party from last Tuesday night (July 25th).
Sorry, I’m just getting around to posting these. Ironically it’s my mother-in-law’s bday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jamie!
Amelia enjoyed her French fry “cake” and her gifts! Clearly the rest of us super enjoyed her “cake” too. Fresh fries are always hard to pass up and they made a perfect appetizer for her party.
BTW- Thanks to my mom, AKA Nana, for a great party!
Amelia got some great gifts! Her party was low-key and perfect after we went to Sea Life earlier that day.
Octonauts are her new favorite!
In real-life today, we actually spent the day chilling at my in-laws. (Bday part post is a couple days late). I did 2 load of laundry and started to reset the camper. It had gotten a little wonky with us leaving Messi in it while we were away at SeaLife and the Zoo. He hasn’t shown signs of wanting to chew cords, but I didn’t want to chance Messi getting into anything (including the IceCo cords) that could hurt him/that he shouldn’t… so I half destroyed the inside of the camper to prevent him access to things. (Messi did great by the way both times he was left alone in the camper as he did get let out to go potty by my dad and my father-in-law during those days).
The camper has some more organizing to get road-trip ready… but we have a couple days before it needs to be set and ready to roll!
BTW- It looks like we will be leaving MN on Tuesday, August 1. (So we will be around still this weekend). Our summer of 23 shenanigans will be coming to a close shortly! However, tomorrow we are moving the camper to the campground at the lake so we can enjoy it for 2 nights before we depart!
